I do not know when I pay tax on my rental income and would be grateful for any advice.

Property income charged to tax is that of the tax year from 6 April to 5 April. So, the tax on any property income earned from 6 April 2020 to 5 April 2021 needs to be paid to HMRC by 31 January 2022. And the self-assessment form SA105 for the tax year 2020/21 also needs to be submitted to HMRC by 31 January 2022.
