Are service charges put in with ground rents for a landlord tax return?

Question:

Where do you put service charges for a leasehold flat (as expenses) on a landlord tax return? Is it with ground rents, etc.?

I suggest that you put it in Box 25: 'Property repairs and maintenance', since this is an expense to maintain the property in good working order. You should be consistent year on year in which boxes you make entries.
